These hardworking mats help to trap up to 95% of dust, wet, mud and
dirt. The special cotton fibres soak up moisture helping to reduce
hazards, and gets deep into the treads of shoes and paws helping to
protect flooring underneath the mat.

Great mat This is my second hug rug and it is just as good as the first.It really traps the dirt when you wipe you dirty shoes on it, it only shows up the dirt if your shoes are covered in mud like mine can be after a walk through the fields in my area.It is waterproof, as my puppy had an accident on it and no damage (or leakage) onto the floor underneath.

Washing ruined this rug This is a beautiful rug and so soft that my children wanted to lie on it! However, the moment it was washed and dried, exactly as specified on the label– I paid £70.00 for this and wanted to look after it properly! — it loft it’s softness and the pile went flat and now appears dull. Fluff problem I like the rug very much BUT several months on and after washing several times, it still throws off loads of black fluff which is annoying. I haven’t had this problem before with these rugs so it could be a one off. I hope so as the other ones have been excellent.
