2.5 stars – probably for young teenagers I think this book is probably aimed at young teenagers as the plot is very simplistic andthe dialogue between characters aged in their late twenties was not convincing. There was alot of “hey, this is cool” and “yes, he sure is cute”, “this is really weird”, etc. Also there were sometypos and misused words and grammar. It should be “Scott and I went ……..” not “me and Scott …” nor”I and Scott …..”…

Family – you either love them or hate them? Loved it. Okay some errors but for an entertaining read that has a cozy mystery influences it is a terrific read. A grandmother she has never known dies and leaves her a house and business. What she isn’t aware off is that her family are powerful witches. Taking over the business and with her BFF at her side she is shocked that her grandmother’s ghost tells her that she was murdered. Can she unravel what really happened whilst coming to grips with her newly discovered powers. A great plot…

Book Maniac says:

Needs editing This is an enjoyable, somewhat simplistic read but it needs a really good editor to get rid of the mistakes littering this book. There are words missing, words inserted that aren’t needed, scrambled sentences and a couple of terrible spelling errors, e.g. breaks should be brakes and bearing my soul should be baring my soul. I can’t see that the somewhat immature best friend Scott adds much to this story as he doesn’t do much except read a book and he isn’t a witch, just an ordinary human…
