Oak Finish Floor Standing Long case Clock. A fine example of a clock which incorporates a fine German built mechanical movement. The triple chime weight driven movement plays a choice of Westminster, Whittington or St Michael chimes and also strikes the hours. There is an automatic night silence lever which, once activated, will stop the chimes from approx 10pm until 7am. The clock is wound via the chains, driven by the polished weights and will run for around 8 days. There is a Lyre pendulum which can be adjusted at the bottom for timing. The case has a locking front door with bevelled mineral glass. A moon phase dial can be altered to track the moon position and enhances the fine designed face with a filigree surround. Also available in walnut finish.
